The ranking is based on a study conducted by Hot Springs Spas, which analyzed traveler feedback from the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Beaches 2025. Researchers reviewed hundreds of visitor comments and counted how often the word “relaxing” appeared in reviews for each beach.
According to the findings, Eagle Beach in Palm Beach, Aruba, stands out as the most relaxing beach in the Caribbean and the second most relaxing beach in the world. The beach received more than 200 mentions of the word “relaxing,” reflecting consistent visitor experiences centered on tranquility, natural beauty, and a slower pace.
Eagle Beach is known for its wide stretch of soft white sand and calm, crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and long walks along the shore. The beach is also famous for its iconic fofoti trees, which have become a recognizable symbol of Aruba and frequently appear in tourism campaigns and social media posts.
Beyond its scenic appeal, Eagle Beach also plays an important ecological role. It is one of the island’s most important nesting areas for sea turtles, particularly during nesting season, highlighting Aruba’s commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism.
The only destination ranked higher in the global relaxation ranking is Tropea Beach in Italy. Other beaches included in the top ten are located in Mexico, the United States, Cuba, Australia, the Dominican Republic, and Seychelles.
The study emphasizes the growing importance of wellness travel, noting that many travelers choose beach destinations specifically to disconnect from daily stress and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
