Parokia Santa Anna wishes to inform the local community, vendors, and all other relevant stakeholders in the tourism industry that starting Thursday, March 13, 2025, the front area of Alto Vista Chapel will be closed for approximately four to five weeks. This marks the second phase of important preservation and restoration work in the area.
This development, which is being carried out in two phases, is essential to maintaining the respect and tranquility of this sacred site.
Vendor and Visitor Information
During this period, vendors operating in the area will be contacted to receive all necessary information regarding the process. Additionally, an alternative entrance will remain open near the chapel to ensure that visitors still have access to the building.
New Traffic Regulations
To protect the environment and maintain the serenity of Alto Vista Chapel, while also improving the experience for visitors, the following regulations will take effect:
• UTVs/ATVs and tour buses will no longer be allowed to drive or park directly in front of the chapel. Each will have a designated parking area.
• UTV/ATV parking will be assigned behind the chapel.
• Tour bus parking will be designated a few meters before reaching the chapel.
• Regular cars will still be allowed to park in front of or behind the chapel.
Preserving a Sacred and Cultural Heritage
These measures are part of a larger effort to restore respect and tranquility to Alto Vista Chapel, which is private property of the Diocese (Bisdom). The goal is to ensure that it remains a place of peace, prayer, spiritual reflection, and cultural heritage preservation.
