Earth hour celebrated in Aruba once again

Earth hour celebrated in Aruba once again

Earth hour takes place on Saturday the 25th of March from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, local time.

Aruba has yet again registered as a participant, which makes it our 13th consecutive year participating in this special global event.

We invite the Aruban community to support this initiative by participating in Earth Hour at work or at home and invite your family and friends to join in as well.  Make sure to turn off all the lights and disconnect non-essential electronics; you can spend this hour at the beach, at a park, or in your yard and make it extra cozy by using a candle.

The hotels will also unite by participating in this event. They will turn off non-essential lights for the hour.

Earth Hour is an initiative to get every person on the planet to take small steps of action that might make a difference in the future. Let us save energy, and water, and make an effort to recycle as much as possible.

Let us show our solidarity with mother Earth, as it is the home we all share and that we are leaving behind for future generations.

Earth Hour Aruba Community invites the public to participate on the 25th of March from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, local time. Will you participoate?

Earth Hour Aruba Community is on Facebook and Instagram and will be showing the activities taking place all over the world on the 25th of March live via Youtube.
