Starting in January 2026, Aruba will extend a warm welcome to more visitors from Argentina thanks to the launch of seasonal non stop flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas. For two months, travelers from Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Córdoba will enjoy direct access to the “One Happy Island,” opening new doors for tourism and cultural exchange between the two nations.
The new service will operate five times per week with a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft offering 170 seats. Over the course of the season, more than seven thousand seats will be available, enhancing travel opportunities for Argentine visitors and strengthening Aruba’s connectivity in South America.
A significant step for Argentine visitors
Argentina is already one of the most important tourism markets for Aruba in South America. With this new route, travelers will benefit from easier and faster access. From Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport, flights will depart late in the evening at 23:55 and arrive in Aruba at 07:00 the following morning. Return flights will leave Aruba at 08:30 and arrive back in Buenos Aires at 18:45, including a short stop in Córdoba.
In addition, passengers from Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery Airport will be able to take new weekly connections through Córdoba and Mendoza, making travel more convenient for those in Argentina’s central and western regions. The schedule is carefully aligned with the Argentine summer vacation period, allowing travelers to begin their holidays the moment they arrive in Aruba.
For residents of Aruba, the flights also create easier access to Argentina’s vibrant destinations. Whether it is exploring the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Buenos Aires, the famous wine regions of Mendoza, or the cultural richness of Córdoba, the seasonal route will encourage both leisure and business travel across the continent.
Expanding Aruba’s regional connections
Jo Anne Arends, Aviation Business Development Executive at Aruba Airport, emphasized that this development reinforces the airport’s commitment to diversifying its route network. “Connecting with Argentina aligns with our strategy to strengthen ties within Latin America and create new opportunities for growth, partnerships, and long term market development,” she said.
With this addition, Aruba now offers direct connections to four key South American markets: Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina. This strengthens the island’s presence in the region and expands its portfolio of air services.
Ronella Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority, highlighted the importance of this milestone. “Argentine visitors are among those who stay the longest on the island and they contribute significantly to our strategy of attracting high value guests. We are confident that this new route will deepen connections and position Aruba even more strongly as a preferred Caribbean destination. Departures from Ezeiza on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 23:55, arriving in Aruba at 07:00.
Returns from Aruba on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays at 08:30 with arrival in Córdoba at 16:55 and onward arrival in Buenos Aires at 18:45.
Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery – Córdoba – Aruba
Departures on Thursdays from Jorge Newbery at 11:45, arriving in Córdoba at 13:15, then continuing to Aruba at 14:30 with arrival at 20:40.
Returns from Aruba on Thursdays at 22:15, arriving in Córdoba at 06:40, then continuing to Buenos Aires at 08:10.

Departures on Fridays from Jorge Newbery at 09:45, arriving in Mendoza at 11:45, then continuing to Aruba at 13:00 with arrival at 19:35.
Returns from Aruba on Fridays at 22:30, arriving in Mendoza at 07:20, then continuing to Buenos Aires at 08:50.
