Aruba Airport Experiences 14% Growth in Passengers in 2023

In a testament to its expanding role in regional aviation, Aruba’s Beatrix Airport (AAA) saw remarkable growth in 2023, serving over 25 airlines across 45 routes, including five new destinations and the addition of two airlines to its roster. With nearly three million passengers transported, an impressive fourteen percent increase from the previous year, the airport’s 2023 annual report highlights its pivotal contribution to Aruba’s tourism sector.

Strategic Expansion Elevates Aruba’s Air Connectivity

The introduction of new destinations and airlines underscores a strategic expansion aimed at enhancing the island’s connectivity with the world. This achievement not only bolsters Aruba’s economy but also reinforces its position as a leading hub in the Caribbean region, as stated in the annual report.

Investing in Growth and Employment

Employing 238 individuals, an increase of 32 from 2022, the airport’s growth trajectory extends beyond passenger numbers, contributing to job creation and fostering economic resilience in Aruba.
