“The inauguration of this new route from Wingo fills us with excitement. Colombia is one of the most important markets for Aruba which is the reason we are greatly motivated to create goals that will allow us to maximize this market. For the year 2023, we have set a goal to have over 37,000 visitors from Colombia. Together with our local associates and those in the Colombian market, we work to find new alternative options to arrive on our island. We are proud of this accomplishment and warmly invite those in the Cali area to please visit Aruba.” says Ronella Croes.

Jo-Anne Meaux-Arends, commented that, “Our associates at Wingo Airlines will place a 186 passenger plane for each part of the route to Aruba and back to Cali. This demonstrates what an attractive destination Aruba is within the region of latin america, specifically in Colombia.

According to Jordan Schlipken- Croes, “Latin-America continues to grow and therefore we fully expect to recuperate our latin-american tourism market. Executing plans of actions that allow us to connect more cities in our primary market. The idea is to continue to work to grow our relationships with our business associates. Without a doubt this new route will strengthen our objectives to develop and sustain our visitors from this region.”

This new route is also beneficial to the local community because it allows to add another direct flight destination from Aruba. A.T.A and AAA are proud to come to an agreement with Wingo and that Wingo has entrusted them with the confidence of an additional route.
